How to Taste wine

Look at the wine
Check Color, Clarity and Intensity of the Wine. If a White Wine, the Color will be Lemon, Gold, Amber or Brown. If a Red Wine, the Color will be Purple, Ruby, Garnet, Tawny or Brown. Clarity will be Clear or Hazy if something is wrong with the wine. Finally look at the Intensity, it will be Pale, Medium or Deep in Color.

Nose the wine
Give the wine a good swirl, be careful not to spill any. Then bring the glass right up to your nose and take a good inhale. Aim to smell red fruits like red cherry, citrus fruit like lemon, floral aromas or herbaceous notes depending on the wine.

Finally, Drink the Wine!!!!
You want to taste for all the aromas and flavors of the wine. You also want to think about the Sweetness level of the wine, the Acidity of the wine, the Tannin level of the wine and the Body of the wine.
